Email preferences
Control which emails DomainDash sends you.
Overview
DomainDash sends two kinds of email: monitoring notifications (alerts, digests, and resolved notices) and product updates (news about new features and improvements). Manage your product update subscription from your profile page. Monitoring notifications are configured per-team and depend on your plan.
Product updates
Product update emails keep you in the loop about new features, improvements, and tips for getting the most out of DomainDash. They're entirely optional.
Subscribing or unsubscribing
- Go to your profile
Click your avatar in the navigation bar and select Profile.
- Find the product updates row
In the security card, look for the Product updates row. It shows whether you're currently subscribed or not.
- Click Subscribe or Unsubscribe
Click the button to toggle your preference. The change takes effect immediately. No extra confirmation needed.
If you opted in during registration, you'll already be subscribed. Unsubscribe at any time without affecting your monitoring notifications.
Monitoring notifications
Monitoring notifications tell you when something goes wrong with your sites and when issues are resolved. These are separate from product updates and are tied to your team membership rather than your personal account.
DomainDash sends three types of monitoring notification:

| Daily digest | A morning summary of any open non-critical issues | |
| Resolved | A critical incident has been resolved |
Urgent alerts go to every member of the team, so nobody misses a critical outage. You can't opt out of urgent alerts individually. If you're on the team, you'll receive them. This is intentional: when a site goes down, everyone should know.
Daily digest timing
The daily digest is sent each morning based on your timezone. Update your timezone from your profile settings to make sure it arrives at a time that works for you.
Not receiving emails?
Check your spam or junk folder first. Adding inbox@redactr.io to your contacts can help ensure delivery. If you've recently changed your email address, make sure you've verified the new one. DomainDash can't send notifications to an unverified address.
