Getting started

Choose your plan

Find the right plan for the number of sites you manage.

Your first 30 days are on us

Every new team starts with a 30-day free trial of DomainDash's Pro features (status pages, webhooks, content checks, incidents, Insights, multi-location checks, the same generous site allowance as our Pro plan, and a small SMS allowance) with no credit card. When the trial ends your team moves to the Free plan automatically: your oldest site keeps running, the rest pause until you choose a paid plan, and nothing is deleted.

Overview

DomainDash has a Free plan that keeps a site running with no credit card. When you need to add more sites, bring in team members, or unlock features like SMS alerts and multi-location checks, paid plans have you covered. Switch plans at any time.

How plans work

Every plan runs all four checks: uptime, SSL certificate, DNS, and domain registration. Nothing is held back to a higher plan here — so even the Free plan watches your site as thoroughly as every other. What differs between plans is the number of sites you can add, how often each check runs, which alert channels and features are available, and how much history you can keep.

Here's what each plan is built for:

  • Free: great for a single personal site, or for keeping one site running after a trial
  • Starter: designed for freelancers or small businesses with a handful of sites
  • Pro: built for small teams managing a larger portfolio of sites, with more frequent checks and extra features
  • Business: aimed at agencies and consultancies who manage a large number of client sites and need the most from every feature

What changes as you move up

A few features are only available on the higher plans. The matrix below reads straight from our live plans data, so it's always accurate:

Prices may vary

Plans are billed monthly or annually and are available in multiple currencies. See plans and pricing for current figures, or visit the plan selection page in your account.

How to choose or upgrade your plan

  1. Open the plan selection page

If you're new, you'll see the plan selection screen as part of onboarding after creating your team. If you're already using DomainDash, go to Settings → Plan & invoices to see your current plan and all available options.

  2. Compare your options

Each plan card shows what's included: the number of sites, check frequency, alert channels, team member allowance, and data retention period. Look for the Recommended badge if you're not sure where to start.

  3. Select a plan

Click the button on the plan you'd like. If you're upgrading from the Free plan, you'll be taken to a secure checkout page to enter payment details. If you're switching between paid plans, the change takes effect immediately and billing is adjusted automatically.

Extra sites

If you need more sites than your plan includes, add extra sites to any paid plan without moving up to the next plan. Extra sites are billed on top of your plan price, prorated from the day you add them. If your site count grows to the point where the next plan up would be better value, DomainDash will suggest the upgrade for you.

Changing your plan later

Switch plans at any time from the Plan & invoices page in your team settings; you're never locked in. Upgrades and downgrades both take effect straight away, and we adjust your billing automatically (paid-to-paid changes are prorated).

The team owner manages billing and changes the plan. Admins can view the Plan & invoices page, but only the owner can switch plans or update payment details. If you're a member and need a different plan, ask your team owner to make the change.
