Getting started

Finding things

One shortcut to search every site and jump anywhere in DomainDash — without taking your hands off the keyboard.

Open it from anywhere

Press +K on a Mac, or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux, from any page in DomainDash. A search box opens over whatever you're looking at. Press the same shortcut again, or Esc, to close it.

The command palette is the primary way to find your way around DomainDash. It replaces the old on-page search box — instead of a search field tied to one screen, you get one shortcut that works everywhere.

Search your sites by domain

Start typing and the palette searches your sites by domain. Matching sites appear under a Sites heading; choose one to jump straight to its detail page. It's the quickest way to get to a specific site when you've got more than a handful — no scrolling, no scanning the grid.

Results update as you type, so you can usually find what you want after just a few characters.

Jump to any page

Below your site results is a Jump to list of the main places in DomainDash — your sites dashboard, incidents, status pages, and your account and team settings. Start typing and the list narrows to match, so you can hop to a destination by name rather than clicking through menus. With the search box empty, the Jump to list shows the full set of destinations.

It adapts to what you can do

The Jump to list reflects your role on the team. Settings and member-management destinations only appear for owners and admins — if you don't have permission to manage those areas, you won't see links to them in the palette.

Available to everyone

The command palette is available to every member on every plan, including Free. There's nothing to switch on — the shortcut just works.

Start checking your sites for free

DomainDash keeps an eye on your uptime, SSL, DNS, and domain registration so you don't have to — and tells you the moment something needs your attention. Set up in under a minute, no credit card.
