Profile settings
Update your name, email, or password from one place.
Overview
Your profile page is where you manage everything about your personal account: your name, email address, timezone, password, and two-factor authentication. You'll also find your team memberships listed here, and an option to delete your account if you ever need to.
To get to your profile, click your avatar in the top-right corner of the navigation bar and select Profile.
Updating your name
- Go to your profile
Click your avatar in the navigation bar and select Profile.
- Edit your name
In the first card, update the Name field to whatever you'd like to be called.
- Save your changes
Click Save changes at the bottom of the card. Your new name will appear across DomainDash straight away.
Changing your email address
- Go to your profile
Click your avatar in the navigation bar and select Profile.
- Update the email field
Replace the current address in the Email field with your new one.
- Save your changes
Click Save changes. DomainDash will send a verification link to your new email address.
- Verify your new email
Check your inbox for the verification email and click the link inside. Until you verify, some features (like notifications) will continue using your old address.
Keep your email up to date
Your email address is where DomainDash sends alerts, daily digests, and account notifications. If you change it, make sure to verify the new one so you don't miss anything important.
Setting your timezone
Your timezone controls when you receive the daily digest email and how timestamps appear across DomainDash. We detect it automatically from your browser when you first sign up, but you can change it at any time.
On your profile page, use the Timezone dropdown to search for and select your preferred timezone, then click Save changes.
Changing your password
- Go to your profile
Click your avatar in the navigation bar and select Profile.
- Click Change next to Password
In the security section, click the Change button next to the password row.
- Enter your current password
Type your existing password to confirm it's really you.
- Choose a new password
Enter your new password and confirm it. We recommend mixing in numbers and symbols for extra security.
- Click Update password
Hit Update password and you're done. You'll stay signed in on your current device.
Deleting your account
If you need to leave DomainDash entirely, you can permanently delete your account from the bottom of your profile page.
Click Delete account in the danger zone, then type your email address to confirm. This removes you from all teams and deletes all your personal data. It can't be undone, so make sure you're certain before confirming.
This is permanent
Deleting your account removes all your personal data and takes you out of every team you belong to. If you're the owner of a team, you'll need to transfer ownership or delete the team first.
