Extra sites

Need a few more sites than your plan includes? Paid plans let you add them without jumping to the next plan up.

How extra sites work

Each plan comes with an included number of sites. On paid plans, if you reach that limit you can keep adding sites — DomainDash charges a small per-site fee for each one beyond the included count, on top of your plan price. So you don't have to jump to the next plan just to keep an eye on one or two more sites.

For the exact per-site fee on each plan, see the plans and pricing comparison — extra-site pricing is shown there alongside everything else, so it's always up to date.

When you're billed

Extra sites are prorated from the day you add them. When you add a site beyond your included limit, it's added to your subscription straight away and you only pay for the part of the billing period it's actually live. The overage is kept in sync automatically: as your site count changes, the number of extra sites on your subscription updates to match, so you're never charged for sites you've removed.

The Free plan is capped

The Free plan doesn't allow extra sites. It includes a single site, and that's a hard limit — there's no overage on Free. If you need to check more than one site, the next step is a paid plan. See Upgrading your plan.

When upgrading is better value

Adding the odd extra site is handy, but there comes a point where moving up a plan costs less than paying for overage. DomainDash watches for this: when your site count grows enough that the next plan up would be better value, your billing settings show a suggestion to upgrade, so you don't end up overpaying for extras.

You're free to ignore the suggestion and keep paying per site if you'd rather — it's just there to save you money when the maths tips the other way.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add more sites than my plan includes?

Yes, on paid plans. Add extra sites beyond your plan's included limit for a per-site fee, prorated from the day you add them. The Free plan is capped at its included site and can't add extras.

How are extra sites billed?

Each extra site is added to your subscription and prorated from the day you add it, so you only pay for the time you use it. The overage count is kept in sync automatically, so removing a site stops the charge right away — you only pay for the time each extra site was live.

Is it cheaper to upgrade than to add extra sites?

Sometimes. Once your site count grows enough that the next plan up is better value, your billing settings suggest the upgrade automatically, so you don't overpay for overage.
