Switching teams

If you belong to more than one team, you can switch between them in a click, without logging out or keeping a second account.

Overview

Each team is completely separate, with its own sites, billing, and members. When you switch teams, the dashboard, settings, and everything else update to reflect the team you've selected.

How to switch teams

1. Open the team selector

   Click your current team's name at the top of the left sidebar. This opens the team selector, which shows all the teams you belong to. (On a phone, tap the team chip at the top-left of the screen to open the team sheet.)

2. Pick a team

   Click the team you'd like to switch to. Each team card shows the team name and your role in that team. The team you're currently viewing is highlighted.

3. You're there

   DomainDash switches you over instantly. Your dashboard now shows that team's sites, and the navigation reflects the team you've selected.

What stays separate

Each team in DomainDash is independent:

• Sites: each team has its own list of sites. Adding a site to one team doesn't affect any other.
• Billing: every team has its own plan and billing. Upgrading one team has no impact on another.
• Members: each team manages its own member list. Someone can be an admin on one team and a member on another.
• Incidents and alerts are scoped to the team where the incident occurred.

Creating a new team from the selector

The team selector has a Create team button at the bottom of the list. Click it and you'll be asked to name the team, as you were for your first one. Each new team begins on its own 30-day trial.
