Invoices

Every payment is recorded as an invoice you can view, download, and keep — so your records are always in order when you or your accountant need them.

Invoice history

Your invoices live on the billing settings page in the app, listed newest first. Each one shows its invoice number, the date it was issued, and the total. The list is paginated, so your full billing history stays available no matter how long you've been with DomainDash — nothing drops off the bottom.

Downloading a PDF

You can download a PDF copy of any invoice on demand from the billing page. The PDF is generated when you ask for it and includes the line items, totals, any discount, and the billing details captured at the time of payment — everything you need to file it away or hand it to your accountant.

Receipts when a payment succeeds

Each time a payment goes through, DomainDash sends two things automatically:

  • An email to everyone on your team who should receive billing updates, with the invoice attached as a PDF.
  • A Slack message to your billing category channel, if you've connected Slack, summarising the invoice number and amount.

You don't have to do anything to receive these — they land as soon as the payment is confirmed, so there's never a surprise charge to chase down later.

Zero-charge renewals

Sometimes a renewal has nothing to pay — for example, if a promotion code covers the full cost of your plan. When that happens, DomainDash still creates an invoice (so your history stays complete) and sends a friendly "no charge this period" email with the PDF attached, rather than a payment receipt. The Slack message reflects this too, noting that there's no charge this time.

Currencies on invoices

The currency on your invoices is set when you first subscribe, based on your billing address, and is used for every invoice after that. DomainDash bills in GBP, USD, and EUR, and can show prices in AED.

How AED amounts appear

AED is display-only. In the app, AED amounts use the Dirham glyph in your browser. On invoice PDFs and emails — where that glyph can't always render — DomainDash uses a plain "AED" prefix instead, so the amount always reads correctly whatever you open it in.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find my DomainDash invoices?

Your invoice history is on the billing settings page in the app. Each invoice shows its number, date, and total, and you can download a PDF copy of any of them at any time.

Will I get a receipt when I'm charged?

Yes. Each time a payment succeeds, DomainDash emails everyone who should receive billing updates a copy of the invoice as a PDF attachment, and posts a message to your Slack billing channel if you've connected Slack.

Why did I get an invoice for £0?

Some renewals have nothing to pay — for example if a promotion code covers the full cost. DomainDash still records the invoice and emails a "no charge this period" note with the PDF attached, so your records stay complete.

What currency are my invoices in?

Invoices use the currency set when you first subscribed, based on your billing address. DomainDash bills in GBP, USD, and EUR, and can also show prices in AED.
