Making a complaint

If you're ever unhappy with the way we've handled your personal data, you can make a complaint — and we want to hear it. Most concerns are sorted out quickly, and the fastest route is almost always to tell us first.

Raise it with us first

The quickest way to put something right is to let us know. Email inbox@domaindash.io, or use the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of any page. Tell us:

  • what's happened, and
  • what you'd like us to do about it.

You don't need any special form or wording, and anyone whose personal data we hold can complain — you don't need to own a team or even have an account.

What happens next

Once we've heard from you, we'll:

  1. Acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it.
  2. Look into it properly — making the right enquiries and keeping our response proportionate to what's happened.
  3. Keep you posted on progress, and tell you if anything is taking longer than expected.
  4. Tell you the outcome — what we found and what we've done about it.

We respond as quickly as we can

We acknowledge every complaint within 30 days. From there, we respond without undue delay — there's no fixed deadline, but we move as quickly as the complaint allows and keep you updated along the way.

Taking it to the ICO

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, or with our response to your complaint, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — the UK's independent regulator for data protection.

You can reach the ICO at:

  • Online: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
  • Phone: 0303 123 1113
  • Post: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF

We'd genuinely appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please do reach out to us before you contact the ICO. But the choice is yours, and you can go to the ICO at any time.
